Opportunity Description

A Re Shomeng would like to invite residents of the Thutukani community to submit applications for the construction of a cattle kraal which will be located in Thuthukani within one of the portions of land close to the new houses. The length and width of the kraal is 60m x 30m. 2m high. The poles must be treated poles. Interested companies are required to submit detailed quotations and company documents to the contact details provided by the closing date. Late applications will not be considered.

Qualification Criteria

Must be a verified resident of the Thutukani

Have a valid South African ID

Have a registered company

A company in good standing

Closing Date: 19 April 2022

Preference will be given to residents of the Thuthukani Farm. Should you not receive a response within three weeks after the closing date. Please consider your application unsuccessful

20t Excavator x1

Dozer D65 x1

10t Pad Roller x1

10t Smooth Roller x1

10m3 Tipper Truck x2

*All machines must have Illumination and Break test certificates not older than 1 month.
Operator Requirements:

Suppliers must provide details of the machine operators including certified ID, valid medical certificate, valid operating certificate and competency certificate.

Operators of 10m3 Tipper Trucks must have a code 14 driver’s license.

All Operators must pass the Dover test – (Excavator Operator A Class; Dozer Operator A

Class, Roller Operator B Class, Tipper Truck B Class.) NB. LOCAL SUPPLIERS UTILISING LOCAL OPERATORS WILL BE GIVEN PREFERANCE..

Terms and Conditions

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: company registration documents, certified ID copies of all Directors, Proof of Residence, B-BBBEE Certificate, SARS Certificate/Pin. Illumination and break test certificates not older than 1 month.

Must be a company in Good standing

Operating Hours will be based on site conditions.

Quotations must be based on hourly rates and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Price must include all related expenses

All machines will be required to undergo an inspection before awarding of contract.

More than 1 supplier may be appointed
